Along the way trains pass through the salt flats east of Wendover, then climb over Silver Zone Pass including the famous Arnold Loop.Then the railroad continues west, passing the ghost town of Shafter, passing through Hogan Tunnel, and snaking though beautiful Palisade Canyon.
